There are several grand gathering activities, like a dessert bar in Mexico while watching Illuminations. I think you can trade in some type of credit for a grand gathering, but forget how many of what. I would like to say 1 table service credit per person, but I really don't know.
The deluxe dinning plan still includes a appetizer, the normal Disney dinning plan doesn't.
The restaurants in Epcot are not owned or operated by Disney, but are operated by third parties under contract with Disney. The contracts are renewed yearly, which is why some of the restaurants aren't listed till the new contact are signed.
I only tried DisneyQuest back in 2000. I personally didn't like it, but others liked it. It is something you may want to try at least once, to make your own opinion.
The Deluxe dinning plan has nothing to do with DisneyQuest, that is a option on Magic your way tickets, which included the water parks and pleasure island night clubs under the same additional cost package.

What are your opinions on Disney Quest? It sounds great but the
reviews on TGM are terrible...terrible
Also, if we are on the DDP
deluxe do we get free tickets? I don't think I want to risk admission
with such mixed reviews. Although, I would pay a pretty penny for some
cheesecake! ;0)
I know I have more questions but I'll try and space them out.
