Hey Kim,
We did the Liberty Tavern dinner in Feb. 07. The characters were
awesome, good service, good food....however.
this trip. The reason? It was too much like eating at home. The food
was served family style and was mostly things like roast beef, turkey,
mashed potatoes, veggies, etc. We had absolutely no complaints about
LT, but I just enjoy having food that is a little more exotic than
what I would cook at home. Chef Mickey's was great...the amount of
character interaction was almost exhausting. The characters were very
animated...we had Goofy signing autographs behind his back and over
his head, all the characters do this little performance together every
20 or 30 minutes...it was just nonstop! There were a lot of great
food choices in this buffet style dinner and a ton of things for the
little picky eaters. Our other favs this trip were Akershus, Coral
Reef and Cap'n Jack's. Akershus is mostly princesses so probably not
the best idea for your son. Both kids would probably love Coral Reef.
The food and service are excellent and there are lots of very cool
fish to watch during dinner. Cap'n Jack's had awesome food and service
but not a lot of interest for the kids. Anyhow, have a great time
